Selected jd database driver - no effect

(1/1)

FWerres:
Hi,

I was looking for a tool to support a multi language web site and ran into jDiction.

To try it I installed a new joomla 3.1.1 and added the latest jDiction 0.9.9.6
Following the activation guide lines I changed the system database driver to Jdiction_mysqli but
the jDiction check page still delivers

Version
    Library Version: 0.9.9.6
    Joomla Version 3.1.1 is ok.

Plugin
    JDiction Plugin is enabled
    Languagefilter is enabled

Database
jDiction Database Driver is not selected

Language
    Seam to be good

Module
    Module is enabled

I can add to translations to e.g. menus but I don't get the language choice on the user web site ...

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.

Regards
Frank

Harald Leithner:
You don't have the module on the site or could you change the language but you don't see a translation?

maybe you could post me a link to your site and superadmin as PM?

FWerres:
Thanks for the prompt and helpful response.
As it turns out, I tried on a page that didn't show the module  :-[
I chose a location for the module and now it works like a charm!

Though the check page still says the driver would be missing and the English flag really was missing, but I found another forum article that helped me with that.

Thanks again,
Frank

Harald Leithner:
you are right the check page is not correct for joomla 3.0

thx for reporting.
