I downloaded, installed and activated jDiction. Read the instructions and I thought I had followed everything properly on a test site. I translated the 'Beginners' article and it shows the link to article id 8, configured Chrome with Spanish as the default language, closed, opend, view the home page and no translated article. I used the standard Joomla process of creating different language articles by copying the 'Joomla' article, changed the language to Spanish 'es', translated the text and it shows up fine.
Here is the Articles display:
As you can see, this is article ID 8 and it is a featured article.
Here is the jDiction Translation display:
As you can see, it does show that this is the Spanish (espanol) translation for come_content - article 8.
Here is the home page:
As you can see, the Beginners article was not replaced with the jDiction translated record but the Joomla article was translated using the standard way to provide articles in different languages as the Joomla article had Spanish (es) as the language.
The following plug-ins are enabled:
System - Language Filter
System - Language Code
Smart Search - jDiction content plugin
System - jDiction multilanguage package

http://webbering.com/test/index.php/esThis is a test site that I used to help others in the Gantry Framework Google Groups as well as other problems people have with Joomla development. So I don't care if it gets messed up a bit as I can just reinstall the entire package again.
So can you determine what I have done wrong?
