Hiding Menus and SEO

(1/1)

augustSix:
First of all, This is really a great extension, super easy to handle all translations of articles, modules, menus etc., so thanks a lot.

But what I cannot seem to figure out is if you can hide a menu, lets say you want to show an item(menu) in 1 country but absolutely not in another country. Can you then disable the menu item for one country. I know this is possible from another extension but I can't find the solution from this. If not possible is this then something you can set from the database?

Another question is the SEO, how in the world do you input SEO in other languages?  ???

Keep up the good work. This is by far the easist to manage language extension out there.  ;D
cheers from a fan

Harald Leithner:
JDiction has no possibility to disable one menu entry in one language, this could be done by joomla native, that works fine if you have 2 or 3 languages.

You simple create multiple menu items, per language one.

About SEO, what do you mean? Meta description?

augustSix:
Hi Harald,

Thanks for letting me know. Do you plan to add this feature or is it too complicated? I was just thinking that if you have above 10 languages then it will be a drag to have multiple menus for each language to hide a couple of menus.

About SEO, yes I was thinking about menu titles, descriptions and META.

cheers

Harald Leithner:
Yes its planed.

You can translate Menu title, meta data for articles, I'm not sure if its possible for menu items but I think so.

augustSix:
Great news.  ;)
As of now I can not find a way to input language specific SEO into menu items only articles as you mentioned.
Looking forward to seeing this extension progress in the future.

keep up the good work and thanks again.
