Error 1064
« on: July 07, 2014, 07:24:29 pm »

Hi, looked on the site but didn't see a solution.  After setting the database driver to use JDiction_mysqli, I get the following error on any of the translated pages (the originals still work fine):

1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' c.id AS JD_MAGIC_KEY_1 jos_content c WHERE c.id='86'' at line 4 SQL=SELECT c.id as id, c.title as title, c.metakey as metakeywords, c.metadesc as metadescription FROM , c.id AS JD_MAGIC_KEY_1 jos_content c WHERE c.id='86'

The check page reports the following:

Test    Result

Version

    Library Version: 0.9.9.11

Plugin

    JDiction Plugin is enabled
    Languagefilter is enabled
Multiple Plugins have the same loading position (0)

Database

    jDiction Database Driver is selected

Language

    Seam to be good

Module

    Module is enabled

Here's where it gets even more strange, my home page (which uses the same template, but a few different modules) displays normally, on both language settings.  However I tried unpublishing literally every assigned module on a test page I created that was not also published on the homepage, and it did not fix the problem.  I'm pretty much out of ideas at this point.  Is there any help to be had?  I'm trying to get the rest of this site translated by Wednesday.

Ok I'll give it a try.  Where can I find instructions for that, and are there any Joomla compatibility issues I'll need to watch out for during the process?

Nevermind on that last part.  Updated jDiction.  Still have the issue.  check page now says:

Test    Result

Version

    Library Version: 1.1.0
    Joomla Version 3.2.0 is ok.

Plugin

    JDiction Plugin is enabled
    Languagefilter is enabled
Multiple Plugins have the same loading position (0)

Database

    jDiction Database Driver is selected

Language

    Seam to be good

Module

    Module is enabled

Common mistakes

At least one content item has the language set not to ALL.
The default editor is not tinymce, jDiction does only support tinymce at the moment.

Why so it is... Odd, the update utility in Joomla only updated to 1.1.  Ok I installed 1.2 and it's working now!  Thanks a bunch.
