Hi,
I am having problems with the Main Menu Items. After translating any item, other then the Default Page Menu item, it links to a 404 error page.
Only if I choose the Menu item as the Default Page does it shows the corresponding translated page.
Thanks for your help

Common mistakes
At least one category has the language set not to ALL.
The default editor is not tinymce, jDiction does only support tinymce at the moment.

@crisjagmin
if the alias is empty or only has a spacer then there is a problem, but if you have any value set then this should work. Do you have an example for me?
-
Empty or full alias does not work in both the native language as the second language see in http://studiodess.com/clientes/sulinox/index.php/pt/
Item EMPRESA error 404 http://studiodess.com/clientes/sulinox/index.php/pt/empresa.html
-
Would you please try to disable the .html extension?
-
Disabled but still the 404 error http://studiodess.com/clientes/sulinox/index.php/pt/empresa
-
would you like to give me an superadmin account on the site per pm?
-
I don't think that the problem is by jdiction, it seams that some other plugin does a strange thing.
I deactivated the SEF in the configuration and created a new article and a new category.
http://studiodess.com/clientes/sulinox/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=104&lang=en
if the article is in the category "Uncategorised" it works if its in one of the other categories it give a 404 error, thats beyond the scope of the help I can give you with jdiction. Sorry
-
I sent the requested data
-
?!
as posted above, thats not a jdiction problem, I think another plugin does some strange things.
-
Sorry I have not seen it already had the answer I think I will have to abandon the use of jdction unfortunately my deadline is running out! Thank you for your help and support!
-
If you get it to work without jdiction i'm very interested to hear from you
-
I loved jdiction but this project is late and does not have the necessary knowledge to solve the problem of error 404 likely I will have to copy the site into other languages but rather use jdiction.
-
does it work after you removed jdiction?
