Title: Unable to save content or module translations
Post by: lumbanraja on September 14, 2013, 02:43:13 pm
Hi there,

got the problem that upon saving the translated content disapears again. In the content manager the listed modules and articles are marked green as translated, but once I open it, the content field is emty. No difference whether I've activated JCE or not.
The day before it worked, I could tranlate a few articles, then as the problem came up, I still could enter and edit the content within the jDiction component.
Yesterday I suddenly got an "Umleitungsproblem" with the whole website unless I deactivated the languagefilter plugin and I could't get the flaggs visible. Today both works fine, I just changed the English content language from "guests" to "public".
I'm not shure, but I think it may be the loadposition of the module, but I cant get it to 1. Only 0 or 2 is possible..??
Here's my setting:
Test    Ergebnis
Version
    Library Version: 0.9.9.10
Plugin
    JDiction Plugin is enabled
JDiction Plugin is loaded at position 0 should be 1
    Languagefilter is enabled
Datenbank
    jDiction Database Driver is selected
Sprachen
    Seam to be good
Modul
    Module is enabled

Hope, somone can help me with this... Thanxx and Cheers

Thx,

2 things

1. if you don't use the default editor (tinymce) jdiction could not detect the change and could not empty the editor window.
There are 2 workarounds for this, use tinymce or always change the title, but this doesn't help always. jDiction needs to know the editor and atm it doesn't support other editors then the default one.

2. to change the layout of the flags you have to override the template, copy modules/mod_languageswitcher/tmpl/default.php to templates/<yourtemplate>/html/mod_languageswitcher/default.php and change it as you like.
