Attached is the current j4 version I have, I plan to change how jdiction (and other extensions) are distributed in the future, that's also a reason why no offical relase is done yet.

Yes, it has it's own database layer similar to falang.

Hi,

that's exectly the usecase. You can but don't need the joomla core multilanguage system. Translations are created in it's own interface per module/content/menu. it doesn't need it's own copy. Also export and import works without preparation.

That's strange because all extension parts have the correct version number... You may try to uninstall the wrong version and reinstall the new one.
