Hello,
I set up a new website yesterday using Joomla 2.5.6. and the newest download from Your website as well.
The website needs to be international, so I installed jDiction also.
Now I get the following error when I try to get a new translation: Fatal error: Class 'jdiction' not found in /var/www/web1138/html/ticketshop/administrator/components/com_jdiction/models/translation.php on line 55
And I get the following error when I click onto "export": Fatal error: Class 'jdiction' not found in /var/www/web1138/html/ticketshop/administrator/components/com_jdiction/models/export.php on line 42
What can I do?

Hi Steffen,
please could you check that you activated the plugin and the database driver?
Also check if that the file JOOMLA_BASE/library/jdiction/jdiction exists.
If the lib does not exists add write permissions to the library directory and reinstall jdiction.
Hope fully this fixes the problem.

Hello Harald,
sorry for the late reply. Have some other projects too.
I activated the module and the plugin. This fixes the errors. The file exists too. But now I get an empty page when I click on "translation--new"
with a PN I can send access rights to the installation
Regards
Steffen

Hello Harald,
today I installed the new version 0.79.
After that I got the following error:
arning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in ...website/libraries/joomla/database/database.php on line 1315
I'll send the login-info as a pn

I could not find the error message you submitted but I upgraded your jDiction installation to 0.7.9.2, now you see the translation icons on the content page.
There is a problem when no translation exists for a language but does not longer exists after adding translation, I will try it on my installation to reproduce and to solve it.

Super, thank You!
Now I can test the installation and the unsability.

I tried to unpublish the translated artice in jdiction and got the following error:
jDictionTableStore: :publish fehlgeschlagen! - Unbekanntes Tabellenfeld 'published' in field list SQL=UPDATE vsts_jd_store SET published = 0 WHERE idJdStore = 1 OR idJdStore = 2
is this because I wanted to unpublish only the translation?
And is it possible to show the name of the article in jdiciton?
-
The part of the admin menu is not really ready, its only a placeholder for the moment.
Everything is done on the translated content lists.
-
ok, fine.
another error: in the frontend I get an error 404, file not found.
Is there the need to install the menues by hand or is it done by jdiction?
Because I do'nt know the translated articles this should be done by jdiction....
***** update *****
I found a reason for this error: I installed all files in a subfolder (www.admin.vs-server.de/ticketshop) but the frontend tried to view the files in www.admin.vs-server.de/de
-
sorry,
but at the moment I got the error Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /var/www/web1138/html/ticketshop/libraries/joomla/database/database.php on line 1315
trying to add a new translation in jdiction menu.
-
As mentioned above, you don't use the Admin menu of jdiction you use the buttons in your article.
See http://jdiction.org/de/documentation/usage/16-add-a-translation
About the 404 error could be an error in the language switcher.
-
about the 404 error: I use jdlanguage! where can I change?
the joomla language chooser doesn't work
-
I'm reviewing mod_jdlanguage and will fix the problem today, hopefully.
-
I fixed your installation and jDiction 0.7.9.3 is ready for download.
-
Great, thanks!
It looks really good now.
