Hi! My name is Manuel and this is my first post here. Hello all!
First I would like to say thank you for developing jDiction. Before I used Joomfish, but there is still now version for 2.5 available.
I have some path problems after installing jDiction here on our local test system.
The path to the Joomla installation is:
http://192.168.1.200/i_tec/website/j25/
The flags for the language selection are not displayed, because the image-link to the flags is:
http://192.168.1.200/media/com_jdiction/images/flags
/i_tec/website/j25/ is missing in the path.
Also my SWF-Player (Flowplayer) is not working anymore. The file is located in media/system/swf/flowplayer-3.2.7.swf
Since installing jDiction, Joomla is searching for the file in
de/media/system/swf/flowplayer-3.2.7.swf or en/media/system/swf/flowplayer-3.2.7.swf. Of cause it can not be found.
What am I doing wrong?
Regards,
Manuel

Hi Manuel,
you are welcome.
The flag problem is fixed in my developer version. Could easy be fixed by using your own template override.
Where do you use the flowplayer? Is it a plugin? Because I don't think that jdiction changes the paths, thats maybe done by the language filter plugin of joomla.

Harald

Hi Harald,
thanx for your quick reply.
Can you please tell me, where I can solve the flag problem directly in jDiction
or how to use the template override for this. I have never used template overrides before.
I'm always working with JYAML CSS Framework template ...
The Flowplayer is not a plugin, module or component. It is handcoded in an article.
Is jDiction still working without the language filter plugin of joomla?
Regards, have a nice WE

jdiction needs the joomla language filter... so I think joomla is rewriting the url, could you give me admin access and/or the url to the site?
Replace the JPATH\modules\mod_jdlanguage\tmpl\default.php with the attached version.

Sorry, but the Joomla installation is on our local test-server and not reachable from outside our network.
Thanx for support and the defualt.php, I will try it after the weekend.

I had been nosy and tested the new default.php right now ;)
Looks funny, see attachment. This is option "Flag left, text right" ...

hehe, maybe it doesn't load the css. I will look into it on monday, I hope.

Hi Harald,
the problems hab been caused by my CSS and mod_rewrite settings on the server.
Also I had to rename the british flag from gb.png to en.png to be shown.
Now I can confirm that jDiction is working pretty well. Many thanx for this great piece of work!
Regards,
Manuel
