General Questions / Cuts out middle of URL in JEM

JDiction is working well with my site except for within the JEM component. If I use the language changer on an event it cuts out the middle of the URL resulting in a 404 Category not found.
For example:
/en/gigs/event/11134-ok-go
changes to
/ja/gigs4-ok-go
You can see /event/1113 is missing.
I noticed a similar problem posted at http://forum.jdiction.org/index.php/topic,621.0.html but without a solution.
