Post by: lory86 on January 27, 2015, 05:37:28 pm

the rest of the website works?

and you try to translate the com_custom correct?

the easiest way is to copy the module and use joomla native multilanguage function.

The rest of the website works very well. The problem is in some module where I have a table with some details in Italian language or image. When I try to copy the source code inside at the Jdiction Module translator a will occur in this problem. I can copy, I can paste, I can see a preview but when I save all the details will disappear and the traslation is empty.

For your last idea in my configuration should be not a good solution. I want to check why this component don't working very well.

Do you have other solution to my problem?

you have 2 problems.

one, it seams that your joomla version is too old and the changed status is not detected for editor windows (the border should get orange)

the second is that you have a non utf8 charactor in you text field "" and it seams that this kills the xml string in the database.
I will check if I can do something about this. atm remove it if possible.

If you like jDiction you may consider to write a Review at JED (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/languages/multi-lingual-content/21014)
