It's not custom fields, it's the regular category layout. If i put on a menu item joomla articles category blog or list the page returns a 404 page

This was not fixed yet, correct? I added the new version to the website and even without the sef links it's not working.

General Questions / 404 - Category not found
« on: May 26, 2016, 12:34:47 pm »
Hi, when i have a menu item pointing to a category and the category's articles are not assigned to a menu and i access them from the front side of the website and i click the flag to change language i get "404 - category not found". The url changes too, it gets "cut", meaning when for example i'm in the english part of the site the url is www.thewebsite.com/en/news/72-news.html and i hit the other flag for translation the url becomes www.thewebsite.com/el/newsews.html.

I've had this error happen in a few websites but you can see one of them here http://www.europrise.gr/en/news.html
If you do have an explanation/solution for this please let me know so i can fix the other websites too (the others do not have the latest joomla 3.5 version, one is 3.4.1 so version cannot be a problem)

Test    Result

Version

    Library Version: 1.4.2
    Joomla Version 3.5.1 is unkown.

They are both live sites and i have unchecked the sef urls so they can work. I can give you admin access to them though if you need to test it

General Questions / SEF Breaks translation
« on: December 15, 2015, 10:58:01 am »
Hi, i've used jdiction on two sites and they both have the same issue. When i activate the search engine friendly URL on joomla configuration some items (not everything) when we click the flag to go to the other language we get 404 error "Cannot find category" and in different components . When i deactivate it the site works fine.

One site is Joomla 2.5.28 and has  jdiction 1.3.2 (check says that joomla version is unknown and default editor is not supported by jdiction) - the issue is on Virtuemart products of a specific category
The other site is  Joomla 3.4.5 with jdiction 1.4.2 no errors but the editor comment that is unsupported. - the issue is on joomla articles of a specific category

I did remove and recreated both categories and menu items the problem is still there.

Can you please let me know what could be the problem?

Thank you
