Title: Translating JoomGallrery
Post by: brokenjirka on March 23, 2015, 06:29:25 pm
Hi, i have already installed jdiction 1.0 in for my joomgallery 2.5!
But i cant see in joomla components list, i see it only in components > joomgallery > installed extension. And my main question is how can i translate captions, tittles, category names and other in joomgallery. Pls is there some solution?

I removed old jdiction, and instal some other. So now:

Version:
Library Version: 1.0.0
Joomla Version 2.5.28 is untested.

Plugin:
JDiction Plugin is enabled
JDiction Plugin is loaded at position 0 should be 1
Languagefilter is enabled

Database:
jDiction Database Driver is selected

Language:
Seam to be good

Module:
Module is enabled

Common mistakes:
At least one content item has the language set not to ALL.     --- I disagree :D

But still i dont know, how translate joomgallery. And now i se components > joomgallery > installed extension > jdiction >not install
I something like jDiction for joomla and jDiction for JoomGallery ??

first you should not install the oldest version of jdiction ;-)

Install http://jdiction.org/itrfile/_1_/cabe4d8d6cd3c6d91c17e427a90c0ac6/pkg_jdiction-1.3.2.zip this version for Joomla 2.5 (and consider to upgrade Joomla)

you should get a translate button in the top left corner.

Do you have the joomla gallery jdiction extension installed?

you should have a jdiction.xml file in /administrator/components/com_joomgallery folder.

You should already see something like the attached images for your articles. The same should be visible in joomgallery.

File is /www/administrator/components/com_joomgallery/jdiction.xml in your case.
