Hello,
According to the reviews I've read, this extension is exactly what I need.... But no matter what, I cannot make it work.
All the content of my site is in Portuguese and everything is set to Language=All. I need to have a translation for English.
The jdiction check says:
Test Result
Version
Library Version: 1.3.1
Joomla Version 3.3.6 is untested.
Plugin
JDiction Plugin is enabled
Languagefilter is enabled
Multiple Plugins have the same loading position (0)
Database
jDiction Database Driver is selected
Language
Seam to be good
Module
Module is enabled
Common mistakes
It seems that there are no common mistakes.
For testing I've just translated the main menu and its default menu item. I would expect to see these items translated.
jdmodule is published, it changed the url from pt to en, but nothing happens!
Initially I suspected of the real order of the plugin, and changed a few times, and nothing changed.
I activated the php error display, and I have these errors all over the frontend:
Notice: Undefined index: jml_menu in /var/www/html/joomla4d/libraries/jdiction/jdiction.php on line 521
Notice: Undefined index: jml_menu in /var/www/html/joomla4d/libraries/jdiction/jdiction.php on line 535
Notice: Undefined index: in /var/www/html/joomla4d/libraries/jdiction/jdiction.php on line 535
I hope you can help me.
Thanks

do you have a custom menu component? Or a template that uses a frame work?
because its possible that the menu get loaded before jdiction loads. Alternative could you translate a contant article and check if this one is translated?
-
Yes, the article is translated.
I use a template that has a special main menu, called megamenu and the templates uses the zo2 framwork. It's a template from zootemplate. How to workaround this?
-
Now it works. I changed the load order of the framework, and the menu is translated
-
Good ;-)

Hello! I have the same problem. Can you help me, please! How did you change the load order of the framework.
-
Go to the plugin section and set the jdiction plugin to the first position.

I set the jdiction plugin to the first position but the main menu is still untranslated, sidebar is the same.
I use template IT Enterprise V.3.0.0, Joomla 3.3.6
What the reason of my problem could be else?
Thank you!
-
...besides I set MegaMenu plugin to second position.
-
Its possible that the menu plugin is broken and loads the menu too early, anyway could you please post the output of the check page?
-
The plugin is published. I attach the screen of frontend. Main menu must translate on Ukrainian, but it is still Russian. Text in the bottom of the page is translated correctly.
-
And this is check page:

could you disabled the menu plugin or the template plugin and see if it works with the default menu?
some template plugins do some wired stuff that prevents jdiction to translate content.
-
I did as you told me. Situation with the default menu is the same (
-
could you send me a super user account per pm?
-
yes, I can. Where could I send it privatly?
-
I sent it on your e-mail
-
The plugin "IceShortCodes" is not working correctly.
I disabled it and now it works.
-
Wow! You are a magician :) Thank you cordially. You helped me more than I had expected.
Sorry for taking you time but how how did you know that the problem was in IceShortCode?
-
I disabled all plugins that I don't know.
So the Menu plugins are the first plugins I disabled ;-)
If you like jdiction you may write a review on JED.
-
I realized. Thank you again :)
Of course, I will write a review.
-
It's a pity but I can't write review on JED. Currently review submissions are disabled as they migrate data to their new site.
Where else can I do it?
-
Ok, no problem you may do it if JED is writeable again.
