Post by: Finarfin on July 10, 2013, 12:35:45 pm
Could you try to replicate this?

Initial status:
Original article, all languages, written in english
Translated in deutch

Go to article on deutch, on frontend
Save
The original is now in deutch.

Atm I have no plan to support frontend editing, I don't like it, its looks horrible and only works on articles, so I think its useless.

But patches are welcome ;-)

Not going to worry about this :P I have disabled the edit button when the language is not the original one (a check in the template)

I´m more worried about the finder issue  ;D

Greeting Harald,

I'm using jDiction for the first time and am favorably impressed.  Good job.

I wanted to express a desire to consider getting front end editing working.  Yah, it's not the prettiest.  But I've got folks working on translation who I'd prefer not to even know the site has a back end.

Unfortunately, I don't have the coding skills to be messing around with your component.

Can you be bribed ?  cheaply ?    ;D
