Hi,
I've installed successfully Jdiction on my joomla 2.5.11 site (Quantive template from Rockettheme). I've set four language: italian (default), english, french and russian.
Everything works fine but the default lanuage. The other three are properly displayed but when clicking on the default language flag the 500 error page appears saying that it can't find the language.
The strange thing is that if I change the default language (i.e. english instead of italian) the site shows perfectly italian but not english anymore.
the site is
www.amletodrammamusicale.com
The check says
Version
Library Version: 1.0.1
Joomla Version 2.5.11 is ok.

Hi Harald,
any new concerning my issue?
Thanks
-
Is the common mistake a problem or did you set this intentional?
" At least one category has the language set not to ALL."
I'm back on Monday.
-
Even if that message appears, actually there's no category set not to All: I've checked them several times.
Please excuse me: I've thought you were already come back from vacation.
Bye
-
please send me a superuser account as pm and I will look at it on monday.
-
I don't get any error message, I changed the tag for italian from it_IT to it-IT but that shouldn't be a big problem.
-
The problem stills remains.
At the moment my default langauge is set to English.... and in the public site it does not work.
If I change the default langage, that will be the one not been displayed.
I don't know how to solve this issue.
-
Attached you see my desktop with all sites in all languages in all browsers.
Could you send me a screenshot of your problem?
-
It's not a problem of flag visualization... even in my browser I see the English flag.
Try to navigate the site and click on the english flag: you won't see the english text.
Even in your screenshots there's no trace of English translations.
-
Now I understand, I searched for an error message or no content or a blank page.
But the site works perfect, its a logical problem.
The concept of jdiction is the following:
Site default language is English, you fill all content in english in the default Joomla interface.
You have 3 languages, so you click on translate and insert the translations.
Now you have 4 languagues:
english (the default not translated by jdiction, default Joomla content)
french (translated by jdiction)
italian (translated by jdiction)
russian (translated by jdiction)
if you set the default language to italian, its all correct:
http://www.amletodrammamusicale.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=101&Itemid=263&lang=en
or?

Ok now it works. Thank you so much.
Another small question: I saw that in Explorer the flags are not displayed correctly while in Firefox everything is all right.
Any suggestion?

seams to be a problem with the css.
