Hi there!
Today I have updated to Joomla 3.4.0 and now jDiction doesn't work propper anymore.
Menus are not translatet and new articles show a 404 error when switching the language.
Is this a known issue? Any ideas how to fix this?
Best regards,
Manuel

Please try the attached version this release drops support for Joomla 2.5.x and maybe older Joomla Version then 3.4 (untested).
-
Good morning!
Thanx for your support. I will give you a feedback beginning of next week.
Currently I'm in a project that has to be done this week, no time for testing.
Regards,
Manuel

A better version is attached.
-
Hi! Again thank you very much!
Is it better to install the Joomla-Update first or better the new jDiction package?
Best regards,
Manuel
-
Doesn't matter, installing jdiction update first would show you new problems with jdiction (even if there shouldn't be any)
Attached the current version that should finally work, but there is a reported problem on language switching what I can't reproduce.
So please help testing.

Same here...upgraded to Joomla 3.4.0 and downloaded your 1.4.1 patch...I can't find the language switcher now
-
The attached version should fix all problems.
-
You are a wonderful man. Worked like a charm.
-
it still doesnt work to me ... empty joomla with just one test article and jdiction without any other extension - just switches url, but without translations
and with mode rewrite it returns 404
any hint?
-
Could you paste the output of the checkpage?

-
where? I dont see any option ... thanks for any help
-
System Settings.
Should help you
-
Helped, thank you, it works now ... only doesnt work with mod rewrite ... any chance I can use it without that ugly index.php? with mod rewrite i get only 404
-
Mod rewrite should work without problems wothbjdiction. Didnyou tried without jdiction?
-
I cannot check it now, because when I switch off jdiction and change the db driver back, the whole website doesnt work (white page). But as I said, it is an empty joomla 3.4.0. in a folder on a website where mod rewrite always works (in other folders)
-
Please give me super user account and the url and i will check it.
-
I think its possible that the .htaccess rules in your / website overrules your .htaccess file in the subfolder.
-
it is without modifications and seems to be the same as in other folders where it works
-
So you have a 3rd joomla installation in another subfolder that works?
-
not v. 3, only 2.5 and it works ... let it be now, when finished, I will move it, it can work there ... thank you
-
ok
