Title: Problems with translating
Post by: stefanp on February 13, 2014, 04:38:03 pm
Hello!
I have just installed the jdiction extension.
I set the default language to "romanian", and set the other language in english.
But when I am clicking on the english button in the site, it just refreshes the page, changes my url to en, but the text, menu remains the same...it doesn't translate.

What should I do?

Yes, ofcourse.

COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_VERSION

    Library Version: 1.0.1
    Joomla Version 3.0.2 is untested.

COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_PLUGIN

    JDiction Plugin is enabled
    Languagefilter is enabled

COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_DATABASE

    jDiction Database Driver is selected

COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_LANGUAGE

Translations are not equal to frontend translations.

COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_MODULE

    Module is enabled

COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_COMMON

It seams that there a no common mistakes.

If needed, I can send you a pm with login/password details, so you can check in the administration page.

if you open an article, you get a button "translate" beside the save button.

But there are problems in Joomla 3.0

As I told you, jDiction doesn't support Joomla 3.0 only 3.1 or better 3.2

Ok, I will try to upgrade on 3.2 version.

A problem is that on my joomla updater it says I already use the latest version of joomla.
I guess I should update manually ?
