General Questions / Re: Problem with Persian (Farsi) language
« on: April 14, 2015, 02:07:32 pm »
Hi Harald,

Tested it in newest joomla 3.4.1 with newest jdiction ... disabled jdiction database and plugin.
Result is that persian switches RTL after 2x click on language. (not on the 1st click)

When I install same template in joomla 3.3.6 with Jdiction 1.3.2 there is no error .. switches RTL working by 1st click.

Strange ...

Regards,
Mike

Hello Harald,

Thank you for suggestion.

Version jdiction was the newest (1.4.2)

I did a new test on older joomla version (J3.3.6) wit jdiction 1.3.2

That solved the problem.
So the BUG could be indeed in joomla somewhere between 3.3.6 and 3.4.1 i gues.

I'm glad I found it now.

Kind regards,
Mike

General Questions / Problem with Persian (Farsi) language
« on: April 12, 2015, 03:01:53 pm »
Dear forum members,

I have a strange problem with one of the languages.

When I enter my site ...taraevents.nl ... the main page apears in English ... Thats perfect.

When I click on Persian (Farsi) than this page apears... menu items are translated but the page order is LTR (left to right) this gives problems reading the text correctly in Persian language.

Now it becomes realy strange ...When I click for the 2nd time on farsi then the page (whole template) is inRTL But ofcourse I want him to do this when I click the first time on the language.

Does somebody have this problem also? Or any ideas how to solve it.?

I'm running the site under : Joomla! 3.4.1 Stable
All other translations (dutch & English) are running well.
Installed 3 languages.

Hope someone can help me out.

Kind regards,

Mike
