Several issues
« on: January 21, 2014, 12:47:53 pm »

Hello,
i use last version of Joomla and last version of your component.
I really like your extension. Its very conviniet for users (redactors), so i want to use it, but can't because of several issues:
1. I added several languages: home language Russin, additional English and Korean. I translated material to both languages. When i try to see translation and turn on for example English i still see Russian version.
2. Also when i select translation another languages url of this articles becomes site.com/ru?view=article and that is all. It gives me 404 error.
3. There is NO in admin part near my home language - Russian.
My site is here: webinteractions.ru/apr

Hope you can help me to fix this issues.
Thank you!

many problems ;-)

I think you can fix them when you read the documentation: http://jdiction.org/en/documentation

I almost make it work : )
But still one little problem - jdiction cant see my home language
If i type site.com it redirects me to site.com/en instead of site.com
I think because of it if i select for example English and then Russian i will get links like http://webinteractions.ru/apr/ru/society?view=article&id=332 instead of http://site.ru/apr/ru/society/332-ne-cmoet-greh

I think there is a problem if you default language doesn't use a subdirectory "/ru/" for example.

if you have 2 languages, then you can use the standard joomla concept, using the languages parameter in den menu/article. Just set it to the language for the translation and joomla will display it only on this language.

I have more then 2 languages. What can i do?
There is also one problem: i can't point default language. Now its English, but not Russian. However in admin part Russian is by default. What can be the problem?

jdiction has not the possibility to hide untranslated content, the only thing you can do is to create an article for each language, if you have a small site this works well and is the standard joomla way. Atm jDiction is only for full translation... sorry about this.

if you send me a pm with superuser rights I can check the default language problem.

Yep. Yesterday I enabled this feature.
But my main question is: can you hide untranslated content? For additional fee.

I think that needs 2 week of work if you want to pay it.
