AEC (Account Expiration Control)
« on: September 09, 2013, 05:20:16 pm »

Hello,

we use jDiction on a Joomla 2.5 installation and so far it works great. Now I would like to enable the AEC Component (www.valanx.org) for our multilangual site. The idea is to use jDiction. Is there a how-to-guide for the required XML-File? Is there a way that you could support this process? (SQL-Log, etc)

Thank you very much

Andre

Does this component display anything dynamic to the user?

If it has a joomfish translation file it would be fast forward to translate it.

The AEC Component stores texts in the database. I already know the tables etc. Would it be possible to have a simple XML file based on the tables without UI-Integration?

I could not find a Joomfish XML file. Is there documentation about how to write such an XML-File?

Hmm atm there is no interface to translate table content without ui integration, but it seams to be necessary.
The Idea behind jdiction is to have a "better" interface as joomfish.

No there is no documentation for the xml atm because the specs are not finished.

I have to install this component and look at it.

Edit without edit: I will translate the xml file for you, hopefully today.

Hmm I need the component to start translate this, but I think I will get it only when I pay for it.

Hi Harald,

I have created a clean installation on our server. I will send you the URL and credentials via PM.

We would need the possibility to translate the following:

Title of payment plans
Go to Components->AEC Membership Management then click on the icon "Plans". There is only one plan with the title "Tranlate Title by JDiction". Let's start with this...

Customize Invoice Integration
Go to Components->AEC Membership Management again and click on the icon "Micro Integr.". There is only one so called micro integration active. Click on "Customize Invoice Printout" and then click "Settings". Here you can see multiple text areas. We would need the possibility to put in a translation for each text field.

Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Best Regards
Andre

OK I looked at it and I'm pretty sure it will not work the default jdiction way. So there are only 2 ways around this, native integration by the author or doing int by hand if you only want to translate some plans and only the title.

jdiction has no manuel interface like joomfish so this would be some sql queries.
