Custom fields Translation
« on: September 24, 2013, 11:49:22 am »

Hey everyone.
I want to create a multilanguage site using jDiction. I think it's the best availble component, but I have one big problem. Can I somehow add translation for more than standard fields?
I want a custom article layout and i will be creating custom fields for different parts of the article, but those won't appear in the translation box.
Is there a way to this?
Thanks in advance :)
Oskar

Right now i wanted to use this one http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/authoring-a-content/content-construction/18564   . But I can also consider using different one or even create those fields manually (but that's worst case scenario).

Atm 3rd party components are not fully supported yet, also this is a complex thing and maybe not easy to solve at the moment.

You have to wait till I find a good generic way to support dynamic Fields.

sorry

How about creating them manually? Could we then list all the fields defined in com-content?

I contacted the created of Fieldsattach, we will see what he says.

Its possible to add fields to com_content to the xml file but this will not be saved in the correct context...

so out of the box its not possible to save this correct.
