Jdiction issues (not sure what)
« on: March 17, 2014, 12:09:07 pm »

Helo people ! I've ran into an issue with the jDiction addon, sadly :( I've heard many great things about and decided to try it out for myself.

I have installed the addon as documented in the files, but yet I am not able to get the translation, not even the flags appear on website even after i've translated both the menus and the articles. (Main language is Norwegian, and 2nd language is English)

Below is an output of the check option

Code: [Select]
Test Result

COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_VERSION
Library Version: 1.0.1
Joomla Version 3.2.3 is unkown.
COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_PLUGIN
JDiction Plugin is enabled
JDiction Plugin is loaded at position 0 should be 1
Languagefilter is enabled
Multiple Plugins have the same loading position (0)
COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_DATABASE
jDiction Database Driver is not selected
COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_LANGUAGE
Seam to be good
COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_MODULE
Module is enabled
COM_JDICTION_CHECK_TEST_COMMON
It seams that there a no common mistakes.

I am guessing JDiction Plugin is loaded at position 0 should be 1 is causing this? Eventually how do I fix it? :)

Thanks in advance

2 things first

1.
jDiction Database Driver is not selected

you have to change the database driver.

2. you set up the content languages wrong I think http://jdiction.org/en/documentation/configuration/12-add-a-content-language
