oh that sounds strange because the only error i can think of is that the wrong database driver is selected in configure.php

Check the content of thos file for jdiction_mysqli and remove the jdiction_ part

Hello, I have the same problem. In the config file there is mysqli driver selected, but still get the same error.
Please have you another idea how to fix it?

Just found a solution: in configuration.php in the variable $themeParams there was wrong value which started with NULL value.
I don't know if the uninstaller put that value or it was there from migration made by Akeeba component (I migrated the site from another server using Akeeba but after migration the translations were not working, so I tried to uninstall jDiction).

Hmm, jDiction rewrites the config file because it needs to change the database driver back, but the why it writes the config is similar to joomla...

strange.
